Don,

But will they do a ServiCar in 2 tone red is the real question!  Seriously, good to see you posting and I hope that you're healing well.

No cvo in 2010 has already been highlighted a while back by one of our australian friends, with the 110 heat problems maybe there is some truth there, having written that there are still plenty of punters looking to get into the cvo market.
while they may not export to Austrialia due to demand or the current economic conditions, that has no bearing domestically and eslewhere. With the exception of some of the slow moving dynas, seems the SERG and SEUG are selling well so there's zero chance they'll shutdown the CVO's here. They might scale back doing 4, but they will definitely do a couple touring bikes.

How about some 2010 CVO's with a Jim's 130 engine and make the 110 engine available on some base models?  That would be the way to go...offer something up that they never had before in 2010, and make that a very unique model year to own, and then move on to water cooled in 2011.  Just tossing out another angle, but I doubt this is something that would actually happen.

It's funny because after I cross the Dyna's off the list, and before I guess the V-Rod, I thought it would be kind cool to do a sporty. However, who in their right mind would spend that kind of money for a sporty? Maybe if they priced it well below the normal ~$24K, perhaps in the $16-17K range, but what motor upgrade could they use?

CVO Road Glide 4
CVO Street Glide
CVO Rocker C (Dark Rocker)
CVO Heritage

The one that would be tough to sell would be the Rocker, the other three will sell like hotcakes.

Just sayin.............

Actually I heard that there is going to be a 1200 CVO priced around $19k.

I also heard that after 4 years of Ultra's it'll be the Street Glide CVO,
sticking with the Road Glide for another year at least and
possibly a Heritage CVO.

There was lots of talk at the recent meetings in Orlando.

i dont ever see a dark custom in the cvo line up,

dark custom is about blacked out, no frills, no chrome, mean moody

cvo is about tricked out, bling, chrome, sparkle, bright color

Would love to see a Heritage Classic Springer (with all the tassles and crap) CVO.....

I would keep my SERK,  but that would be a cool bar hopper!

Thanks gentlemen.  Going to miss some spring riding.  Hate that even more as my niece was getting into it even more this spring than before.  We'd been having a lot of fun the last several weeks.  Kuryakyn adj. rear pegs finally reached her feet and the big long armed Corbin backrest on the ebay scored King tour pak all made the SERG a nearly perfect platform for her to feel very secure in.

The posting/typing is slow but healing has already begun.  Initial post-op look suggests that what was an expected 2nd surgery won't be required.  Just have to be careful and let all the bits of bone and all the bits of flesh do their thing.  Have no intention of letting impatience ruin some of the initial work or cost more time later.

Post this on your bathroom mirror and look at it frequently.  Great to hear that you are thinking no 2nd surgery req'd.  spyder
