A group of us just returned from Rolling Thunder in D.C. and continued onto Va. Beach for a week.
One of our riders who has an 08 Ultra Classic with ABS/Brembo felt a dramatic pulsing while braking and went into the VA. Beach dealer and was told that his Rotors are Warped, he has just under 10,000 miles on his Ultra and will take it to our hometown dealer in Indiana, but we were wondering if any one else has experienced their Rotors Warping with these few miles?
Is this something that should be covered under the 2 yr. Factory Warranty?

I had the rotors replaced twice under warrenty on a prevoius bike only to find out that the hub wasn't true. If they are floating rotors, they usually dont warp.

Yes, warped rotors are covered under the to year agreement. And I believe the extended also.

I've got an 08 SERK that is going in to have the warped rotors replaced next week. The bike has 11,000 miles on it. It seems to be a problem on some bikes.

I've had one set replaced under warranty. According to my dealer, common issue.
