99fxr3 blue paint. Where to buy?

Need to paint my rear fender. Where can I get paint? Also, am considering selling(stock) forks, shocks, seat, and pipes off 99fxr3. All taken off in 2001 with 2k miles on bike. Barry

let me know what you want for your stock parts, seat, pipes, shocks etc. i'd send my sheet metal to hd for painting. or get paint code from hd and have local paint shop do it.

From what I understand and could be wrong, HD will not give out the paint code to just anyone as the code is registered to that bike and the owners of the CVO edition of this FXR-3 like yourself, can get it painted exclusively through them as the other rider suggested. Their rational would be that others would copy the blue flamed version of the FXR-3 and then the numbers which are limited to 64 bikes that year would be tainted by copies being produced. Mark

You can take paint sample (side cover) to a paint store  and see if they can match it.  They come surprisingly close.

Wow, how'd I miss this one! 2 new BLUE3 guys, 1 in Mar and 1 in Apr! Belated welcome guys!!! Always happy to get more BLUE3 owners here! Have you seen the thread in the FXR Section on the BLUE3 Registry?
