On this year's Ride to the Wall, I got to see Will Rossmeyer's Ultra that had the most brilliant rear tail lamp strobe I've ever seen. It strobes about as bright as a Whelen emergency strobe. He also had the same in the fender tip light wired into the brake switch. When he hits the brake, the back of the bike lights up like you wouldn't believe.

He told me his buddy builds the units and I'm trying to track down some contact information. When I get the information I'll post it here.

Waiting on a phone call from Will. I googled but couldn't come up with anything.

Chief,

Ozzie (Glenn) has them on his bikes, although with 500K bikes in DC this past weekend you might have missed him  :nixweiss: (08 105th RG)

Send him a PM, the guy that installed them apparently won't sell the lights, only installed price.

But I took a quick look at Glenn's and they appear to be normal strobes, typical of the ones you will find on the fenders of emergency vehicles. They are VERY bright and have a limited programming mode.

The guy installing may give up some info to you as you are so far away .......................... and then you can give it up here  :2vrolijk_21:

Glenn's might be the Whelen 500 series, next time I see him I'll check.

Here's the light I was talking about.

http://www.brightasslights.com/index_files/Page924.htm

Look at the video and pay close attention to the building on the left. It's not an optical illusion, but the tail lamp is actually lighting up the side of the building!!!

I've seen one of these personally and they WILL blow your socks off!!! :2vrolijk_21:

I'm talking with the company to see what kind of discount is possible for the group.

My friend just bought a 14.7" Red LED light bar from custom dynamics. Where did you guys tie that in to get running/brake lights?

Any help would be appreciated.

When I put a LED light strip on the rear of my 07SEUC, I used the connectors already located inside the tour pak....  Don't know if the 08's have the connectors pre installed in the tour pak or not...but I suspect they do...  :2vrolijk_21:

Does that allow the brake/running lights to work?

I just got done installing LED's, an equalizer, new run - turn - brake module and taillight assembly.

Also did a set of chrome Motolights (the only thing on the bike that is clean right now).

No pictures yet, the bike is filthy - worse it has ever been  :'(

Not only does it have road dirt, but road apples - cow pies straw etc, and hopefully a few hundred black flies are smeared all over  :2vrolijk_21:

DW6019, I installed the the Kuryakyn Panacea Taillight System on my bike it they are the best thing I have ever seen.  It turns your rear turn signals to red led running lights.  When you turn on your turn signals the running lights turn to amber for left or right and your stop light will have an amber arrow for left or right which flashes in conjunction with your turn signals.  Whats even better when you apply your [/b] [/color] brakes all three lights flash in sequence five times to get the persons behind you attention that you are slowing down or stopping.  I have had these lights on my bike since 2005 and I have never seen anything that works better.  I have listed the part number for the smoke version for the Kuryakyn Panacea Taillight System.  There is no difference in price the the smoke or the amber/red system.  The only down fall is that you can't use your four way flashers, that will over heat the Alarm Compatible Load Equalizer.

Panacea Taillight Smoke                #4833              $169.99
Alarm Compatible Load Equalizer     #4857                $29.99
Panacea Rear Turn Signal Smoke    #4949               $109.99
Front L.E.D. Conversions Smoke     #4825               $109.99
