Later on we headed south on the PCH or HWY1 into L.A. Along the way we saw these maniacs on their kite boards. it was crazy watching jump waves and flip and spin.

Two firsts for me this weekend.......somebody said I'm a "dainty rider" (in reference to why my clutch went out) and now a "cute couple".  I've never heard either of those descriptions in reference to me before. ;D  Maybe I'm turning a corner in my old age. :nixweiss:

Chris, Anne it was a pleasure meeting you two and putting some miles down together.  We look forward to riding with you two in the future.  We wish both of you safe journeys on your vacation and look forward to the pics that you two post. :2vrolijk_21:

Here is another picture of a bunch of the "Cute Couples" hahaha Richard

One of the reasons we are in L.A. is to visit the Getty Museum. J. Paul Getty was an oil bizillionaire who loved to collect art of all kinds, from ancient statues to paintings. So he built two humongous museums to display his stuff. One is in the shape of a old Greek villa and also has these amazing gardens, the other is just a giant building on a hilltop over looking the 405 freeway.

This is a shot of the entrance of the villa

Being a building contractor I have great interest in buildings and how they are built. These museums have some INCREDIBLE concrete work.

Anne has always been interested in art, so we enjoy these outings together

The stone work in this wall was fantastic :2vrolijk_21:
