Exhaust heat shield burnt hole in my Frogg Toggs!
« on: May 10, 2009, 03:36:05 PM »

Anybody got any suggestions on how to insulate the heat shields on my FLHTCUSE4 so that I won't damage the leg of my Frogg Toggs again (I imported them into the UK, probably cost me twice as much as in the USA).

I've got V&H Big Radius on, there must be some way of putting something on the header under the shields to reduce the temp of the shield.

??

Wouldn't it be easier to get rain gear w/heat resistant sheilds on them. :nixweiss:

frogg toggs use to have a heat shield that slipped over to protect them.
