I'll bet it's a SE Street Glide...Air Cleaner looks like SE style.  If they do change the Road Glide to "Ultra" style then there are your two Touring SE's for 10...

I don't think its the CVO Street Glide - although I believe we will see one this year. I think its a catalog shot showing an optional limited edition paint set with all of the customary HD doodads. The most interesting thing in the picture to me is that this Street Glide has the SERG bag extensions.

I think that the engine not being black is a good indicator.  That front wheel looks bigger than 18", too.  :bananarock:

that, my friends, is the 2010 SESG. if you check back in some other threads, I said I had money down on it, on a bet that is. It's a very smart move for HD. great platform to work from. don't think it will be and Ultra. till I get done with one.  :2vrolijk_21:

I spoke with someone that is with the press. They were setting up for the 2010 CVO Launch, while speaking with the H-D Public Rep for the CVO's the question was asked if the new models would still be 110" motors. I was told there was no response - just a long pause then the Rep went back into the launch dates for the press. The person I spoke with found the no response questionable. Having talk to H-D for several launches, he said that the normal quick response when asked about future products is that they can not comment about it. He didn't even get that for an answer.

Just passing it along, could mean absolutely nothing - but you never know............ :confused5:

look to the left of the pole, batwing fairing. this shoot was for the catalog. look at this past years catalog, you'll see a SERG3 in it.

if you want an SESG, just buy a 04 or 05 SEEG and remove tourpak and fairing
lowers and BINGO you have it. Also with a reliable 103 instead of a 110. JMHO.

Showed this thread to the parts guys at my local dealer yesterday. We enlarged the picture and came to the consensus that it was a CVO bike. Looks like the Street Glide, with wheels, CVO air cleaner, extended bags and maybe a fat motor. When I told them about it they said "No way, they don't let anybody know til the dealer meetings". Oh well. T.

The reason this has a lot of validity is that it not only looks like a CVO (See others comments) but this would be the time of year the HD starts preparing collateral material for the end of July introduction of new models.  Also Sheboygn WI is close to the CVO MOCO and this Nino's does exist.

I think the Sheboygan Press stumbled on to this and the HD photographers let it happen.

Wonder if they are still employed by Harley.

Bottom line is that it sure looks like a SESG or SEEG to me....At least I hope so...

Agree I got an 04 but would not mind having the 6 speed NICE UPGRADE ... 6 gallon tank OVERRATED...bigger back tire NICE UPGRADE ..and ABS.... UNDECIDED

I to have the 04' don't think I could part with it..... maybe, maybe not.  :nixweiss: I can't wait to see what HD is putting out for next year though. If it is a SEEG3 I will look at it. The frame upgrade appeals to me more than anything else since the 04' just my opinion.  :2vrolijk_21:

Might be a bike.  No one even considering that it's just a paint set for the P&A book?  Paint sets similar to CVO paint wouldn't be a new thing.

Yep - just exactly positioned so you cannot see if there's a .... radiator shroud?  or any hint of engine designation (110" on an oval A/C for example)

I think the local photog may have gotten a call from the Moco marketing folks ... who also had final say on which picture was published, you can bet.

All free publicity from a company that can use some right now.

It's nothing but a SG with a custom paint set.  You can see the lowers through the tripod holes, and there's no radiator AND there's no water jacket on the obviously visible cylinder.  P&A catalog photo.

Would there be lowers on a stock SG?

Got to be a SESG it has the useless short passenger backrest and footpegs. The slam low front fender. The SEEG's had lowers and they turned it into the SG.

It doesn't look low enough in the rear to be a SG.  I have a new take on it.  It's a SEUC and this photo was taken with the quick release tourpack removed and quickly transformed to a passenger backrest.  Look at the seat also.  Even the guys on here that have removed their tourpacks from their SEUC's don't leave that big tall and wide seat on there like this one has.  It's definitely a batwing.  You can see that by the upper part and the windshield.  The engine looks like the same 110 that we've all grown to adore :'(  Those bags don't look extended to me at all.  The paint has CVO written all over it.  I have no idea how anyone could see if there are lowers from this photo.  The one thing that makes me think that it's not a quick change on an Ultra is the fact that there are no saddlebag guards.  So I've changed my mind while I'm typing this.  It's a SESG that is set up identical to the SEUC, and they will have the king tourpack and lowers available in paint to match and ready to attach quickly.  Okay, I have no idea, just like the rest of you.

I think it is a screamer.  Blow it up and look real close at the engine and the paint design.  I have never seen a none CVO  paint job like that.

In this pic you can clearly see the radiator;

In this pick you cannot see the radiator due to stealth technology and you can see the bike is clearly lowered.

Let's consider this the end of the speculation on the new bike and move on to a new subject. For instance what will be your position in the new United Socialist States of America?

Here's another article from the same paper:

Sheboygan restaurant in upcoming Harley catalog
By Rick Barrett of the Journal Sentinel
Jun. 11, 2009 7:00 a.m.

Wisconsin Harley-Davidson riders will notice a familiar site, from Sheboygan, in the company's 2010 product catalog.

Harley chose Nino's Steak and Seafood to serve as a backdrop for a series of photos in its internationally-distributed Genuine Motor Accessories and Genuine Motor Parts catalog, according to the Sheboygan Press.

The 800-page catalog, which last year had a circulation approaching 1.5million, will be unveiled in August at the 69th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota.

The exposure is expected to bring increased traffic at the restaurant from Harley devotees, who often visit the locations featured in the annual catalog.

"It's an honor for us, and it's an honor for Sheboygan to be on Harley's road map so to speak," Allan Gabrielse, who owns the 39-year-old restaurant with his wife, Linda, told the newspaper.

Gabrielse said the company contacted him after a Harley representative had eaten there and thought the building's red barn-board exterior would fit the catalog's design aesthetic.

"Of course, we said, 'Yes,'" Gabrielse said.

A photography crew was at the restaurant at 2724 Kohler Memorial Drive for about eight hours in the rain and fog, taking pictures of one of the company's yet-to-be released 2010 motorcycles.

Harley officials wouldn't reveal the type of bike in the photo, as it's a tightly-guarded trade secret.

Pull out your '09 catalog and turn to pages 16-17.  I haven't seen anything to convince me it's not a 2010 SESG.

Its a street glide with what looks like a Screamin Eagle paint job.  Notice the passenger pegs on the rear which is standard on a Street Glide.  My 04 SE Electra Glide has passenger floor boards not pegs.  I think the moco will not make any more Electra Glides and base model will be dropped this year for good.  I have been told by several Harley employees that the 04 and 05 SE Electra Glides will be the only two years they are made due to the new street glide model.

I've now been informed that this may in fact be the 2010 CVO Ultra... They went from a glass trunk to a leather trunk, back to a glass trunk and finally for next year, no trunk!

Won't be much of an CVO Ultra if that is the case.

I guess nowadays everyone is cutting back.

Screw it, let's ride!

2004 was the first year for the Screamin Eagle Electra Glide (FLHTCSE) and did not come with a TourPak. The 2005 model year had an Electra Glide and had a Chopped TourPak (FLHTCSE²). The first model year for the Screamin Eagle Ultra Classic was 2006 with a leather TourPak and continued for 2007 (FLHTCUSE²). The 2008 m/y (FLHTCUSE³) showed the first King TourPak.

Yet again, you present no proff to substantiate your claim, therefore it is rumor not fact.  Most (okay, at least me) would agree that it's likely and logical, but if you offer no proof, then it is still just a guess.  That's the way it is.

My opinion doesn't see how it isn't a FLHXSE, but all I have is the bad pic from the shoboygen press.

There will be a batwing fairing CVO in 2010 that will have the 09 SERG tail section.  However, the Street Glide came out as a result of the 04/05 SEEG and it's just a down played version of the SEEG so I'm not sure they'll call it a SESG or will it be a SEEG 3?  That's the question.

And I think there are still those out there that will think that you and I both are off our rockers for thinking this.......everybody has their opinion. :nixweiss:  That's free entertainment. :huepfenlol2:

There will be a batwing fairing CVO in 2010 that will have the 09 SERG tail section.  However, the Street Glide came out as a result of the 04/05 SEEG and it's just a down played version of the SEEG so I'm not sure they'll call it a SESG or will it be a SEEG 3?  That's the question.

And I think there are still those out there that will think that you and I both are off our rockers for thinking this.......everybody has their opinion. :nixweiss:  That's free entertainment. :huepfenlol2:

We all know that it came out as a SESG and not the SEEG.  No leg fairings and no tour pack.  Like I said, a stripped down version of the SEEG.  It does have the tail section of the 09 SERG, as I said it would.  I just think they missed the mark by not putting it out as another SEEG.   And the paint schemes certainly aren't any competition with the SEEG nor the 09 SERG. :nixweiss:

Everyone I've talked with for the past year wanted a StreetGlide, not another SEEG.  I guess those of us that love the SEEG are just not up with the latest & greatest now that the streetglide is the offshoot of the SEEG.  I think the MoCo gave everyone basically what they have been asking for in a StreetGlide.  And the colors........they'll be better in person.  :2vrolijk_21:(I hope)  har!  spyder

Nothing too impressive in the new lineup of CVO's, but as other's have said, maybe the colors will look a lot better in person.  As for mind blowing changes, were we really expecting something extraordinary?  I'm actually kind of relieved that I have no desire to trade this year.

I just saw in person the new 2010 SESG in "Spiced Rum", which I thought would be the best colour of the bunch from the photos that I've seen... Although I didn't see it in the sunlight, I wasn't impressed with it at all.

It reminded me of the '05 SEEG "Cherry" only nowhere near as nice... Really dark red, almost burgundy with flames pinstriped in red, with a little gold leaf thrown in.  The '05 has a whole lot more punch to the colour and is a much nicer paint scheme all around, IMHO.

When I first saw the SESG on the H-D website I had thoughts of trading my '05 SEEG in on the newer technology of the '10 SESG, but after thinking about it, I already have the better bike in the SEEG... I've got a much better paint job (Teal) and I've got lowers and a TP and if you remember the SEEG came with the lower shocks so there is no question that the SG was born from that idea and the SESG is (all most) a copy of the '04/'05 SEEG, only not with as much.

First off thanks to Altugo for the heads up and providing us the early notice/pics of the SESG, and now since it has come to be a reality and we have a board for the SESG this thread will be moved to that board. Thanks again. :2vrolijk_21:

Saw them all today. The red is just too fire engine red, the blue looks nice, my wife liked the rum bext and yes they look great in the sun. The popingest colors we saw are a new color that looks like dark blue metalic until you move slightly and it becomes a deep purple. It was on a two tone at the bottom and looked really sweet. They also had a new drag racing dyno with a 113 motor, I'll post the pics soon as I get back from meeting out of town guests...

Also, my wife really liked the Street glide Trike, but it takes both hands to pull the clutch lever, WTF? I think it must have a killer pressure plate...
