What is good for cleaning off the dead bugs off you fairing. I didn't see much in the detailing section.

Hot soapy water soaked towel, drape it on and let it set for 10-20 minutes, they'll slide off easier.
Take it from me, I know bugs...

For a "spiff"...... Plexus works excellent on all finishes, When washing and detailing, soaking with soap and water always works.

x2 - This trick works wonderful. I've been doing this for years and unless you let it sit for days afterwards, you seldom need to use anything else. Works great for the front end of the car/truck too.

I usually use a different word when I hit them...but Wow works.

They are nasty little buggers.

Montana's got bugs too:

I like to use Bugslide.  It's all around a great product to remove the little bastards and keep your scoot clean.

A detailer at an RV dealer showed me this and I've used it ever since...

Wet down the bike with water, take an ordinary dryer sheet ("Bounce" etc - any brand will do) ,  wet it thoroughly, and gently wipe away the bugs!

Works like magic, doesn't scratch, and costs almost nothing.

Cheers!

PLEASE DON'T TELL US THAT THIS WAS FROM SOME SORT OF ICE CREAM RUN OR SOME SHORT EVENING RIDE.

THEY SAY A PIC IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS.....I THINK THIS ONE IS SIMPLY REFERED TO AS I NOW HAVE SOME WORK TO DO.

I WONDER IF A FULL FACE HELMET WAS WORN?

I have just tried the Eagle One spray cleaner/detailer.  I believe that it is one of those waterless detail sprays.  It claims to remove bird poop and bug stuff as well as dirt etc...  It work very well for the "normal" after a ride clean up.  I tried it on my truck for the bird poop and it wiped right off.  I think it is worth a try if you are looking.  I bought it at Auto Zone.

I just keep a fresh coat of wax on the front mine on a regular bases and then when I wash it, I soap the front down first and then proceed to wash the rest of the bike.  After I'm done washing and rinsing the rest of the bike I then go back to the front and the bugs come off with out much effort.

Bought a travel-size 4 oz bottle of the Bugslide which comes with a microfiber cloth in a plastic bag at the local Honda store.  $8.99 plus tax.  At home, I will continue to use the soapy rag soak, but the Bugslide seems to work well enough to keep in the saddlebag for travel.
