Run For The Wall 2009
« on: June 03, 2009, 11:07:59 PM »

I've been participating in RFTW since 2002 but this year was special for Nikki and I. Nikki and I have always wanted to volunteer to work some type of position during the run. This year they asked me to be Assistant Platoon Leader for 2nd Platoon for the leg I was riding. We felt very honored.

Nice post, thanks for sharing, my friend Kevin has participated in this event for many years and was also in a position of leadership unfortunately he did not finish this year as someone in his group made a mistake and he went down to avoid a collision he was the only casualty and will heal to ride again. This event is on my bucket list.
