Can you please look what tires are fixed in the papers exactly and which one are mounted exactly , especially 63 or 65 , also stock mounted was not like in the papers , because the papers are wrong .
What do you have in the papers ?

My build date was 4/09 and my front tire is a 408.

I have 3/09 Date of Manuf and a 408, bought my bike same week Doc got his and he has a 407.

I want to know the exactly size of the tire , for example 130/70 B 18 65 H ( is mine in the paper ) but mounted was a 130/70 B 18 63 H .
Mine was a 1/09 built , with D 407 ,

I just went out and checked my frt. tire   130-70E18 M/C 63H and it is a 408 not a 407.   407 was on my first one got confused.  Doc

And is the " 63 " fixed in your bike-paper ?
Or is there a " 65 " fixed ?

I just got a phone-call from my dealer ,
 he has received a data-paper to change the fixed tire-datas in the bike-paper from
130/70 B 18 65 H into 130/70 B 18 63 H .
And he has received a D 408 F 130/70 B 18 63 H and wants to exchange it with the yesterday-mounted D 407 F 130/70 R 18 63 V .

So all will be good at the end . I will be there next week , tomorrow will be a rainy day .

01-09 date of manufacture.  Frame label states; 130/70 B 18 MC 63H.  Installed tire is a matching Dunlop D407F.

At 2,700 miles there is no unusual wear with all types of riding.  Only complaint I have had was shortly after installing a chopped tour pak, I had a very light death wobble with no hands on at 35 MPH.  Shifted the center of gravity by bringing the rear air shocks up to 40 PSI (they were just under 20), and it has never been replicated. 

So, somebody please explain the whats and whys of the tire concerns.  Thank you.

Remark :
 US price of a SERG front tire is $162
German price of a front tire at HD dealer is 312 Euro ( including tax ) ,
from a online shop one get it for 136 Euros in german .
 That`s really taff i think .

The front tire is build for 15-20k miles use , at 5k miles it starts to get worseand the front end wobbles ( no hands at bar ), the profile which takes the brake-power is nearly at sero , not driveable anymore .( this is the D 407 F ) , Dunlop made the D 408 F instead with profile vice versa . And this should work .
