Evilapes, my experience has been that it will run hotter but likely not damage - likely! I agree with others - take it back and make them drain it and refill with syn. Dallas HD did the same thing once on my 08 FLHRC and they "fixed" it by not charging me the $25 difference in the syn oil, and it made probably 10-15 degrees difference just guessing.
