Anyone with the AK-20's have a problem with a the front springs squeaking after installation?  When you're sitting still and bounce the front end you can hear the springs rubbing the inside of the tubes or outside of the cartridges.  Traxxion told me that sometimes the springs aren't seated properly at installation but will seat themselves after putting some miles on them.

I have about 700 miles on them now and they still squeak.  Will be doing another 600 mile ride this weekend.  If they are still squeaking when I get back then it's going back to Traxxion!

I want to point out that Traxxion has been very concerned about my problem and I'm sure they will do what's necessary to fix it!

I have and need to get back to them to see what to do next. It was discussed before i left their shop and given the same explanation.... they would seat as I put some miles on.

Well I now have about 1300 miles on the AK-20's and they still squeak.  When I got back from my weekend trip Sunday I also noticed that the front tire is starting to feather on the right outside 1/3 of the tread.

I called Mike Hardy at Traxxion today and he said that the squeak is not normal.  I have an appointment 6/29 to have them check it out.

Changed my appointment to tomorrow.  I'll post the results when I'm back home Saturday.  Wish me luck!

Not to start anything but your post made me think of something.

GH and Tommy are complaining about squeaking in their front end after they had Traxxion installed.

Wonder if they have nitrogen in their tires and don't realize where the squeaking is coming from?
