dealer says that my H.D. lowering rear shocks are shot!

Anyone have an opinion .
The lowering rear shocks on my FLHTCUSE3 or shot.
Dealer says they need to be replaced.
What should I replace with for the best ride.
Thank for all of your suggestions.

I am happy with my Progressive 440's, 12.5"
got about 30k (extreme) miles on them, and no problems at this point. Very "cost effective" IMO
There are others with  different brands, check around, maybe ride a buddies bike with what you are looking for....research.

I have used Legend Air Suspension for 3 years now...absolutely love them.  Great ride and adjustable ride height is fantastic!

Same here except I have the Arnotts on the 09.
The 01, the 03, the 05 have Progressive 440's in 13", !3", and 11.5" respectively.
No stock HD air shocks for me.
