I think its the trunk that's a tad larger according to HD website, not the bags.

Our guys fly coach, but they have no clue on how to post or mail pics. Anyhow the SEUC5 is not much different from what the 4 was. And I can do without the lumbar support, which makes that portion of the bike even clumsier. And the tail lights won't be standard for HDI bikes, I bet. The Steetglide looks nice, with the eagle on the tank and the rear outfit like this years CVO Road Glide.

Ride safely,
Louis
my stealer is posting pics on Facebook too!  he and the cute clothing chic flew first class from Zurich to USA, no rescession over here is seems eh!!!!!

I really like the Scarlett Red and Slate.  I had a 06 Heritage that had similar colors - sold it to a buddy of mine and it still stirs my soul every time I see it.

I bet that will be the big seller - I would buy it if I didn't already own my 07 but not so impressed that I am going to trade

---BUT---

I haven't seen it in person yet ;D

I disagree. The typical person buying a $37k motorcycle is not die hard "biker". I think the flames kill it as it looses the classic look. Howie is the only exception to this rule and he'll never own a FDer.

I was hoping it would be a volume control to make the passenger shut up sometimes....

Well you do have Really Good Taste in colors :2vrolijk_21: so we will just have to wait and see - I like flames if they are tastelfully done on a paint scheme I still need to see it in person.

What is your opinion on the best seller?  maybe we should start a poll

Good idea.  Though she hasn't figured out yet that the intercoms in the Nolan helmets do have a volume control ::) .

Yeap!  Couple of friends that are moderately regular passengers.  I could sure benefit from that kind of control with at least one of them....

They even sell them as an aftermarket item now. It used to be that the CVO line had all the goodies added as a show case for what could be done to a stock bike. Guess the economy has gotten to them.

a couple thoughts,

Has anyone noticed the Ultra Limited comes with a 103?

I'm with you Grizz on the ugly a s s  hinges on the Ultra's.

The extended bags on the CVO Street Glide are smooth.

I like the LED tail lights on the CVO Ultra, but where does my pinstriper paint the "Screamin Eagle" graphics?

The extended bags on the CVO Street Glide are smooth.

The one sentence blurb they have describing those bags is:

"Muffler-hugging formation and downward swooping style provides increased storage capacity."

From the limited view of the pics they are normal depth in front and taper deeper front to rear.  Since HD is touting "increased storage" must be a one piece bag opened in the interior too.  Guess they realized last years bolt on abortion with the big seam all the way around was kind of half-assed.

I control that w/the throttle... more you twist, the louder the pipes get, more wind rushes by, harder to hear what they saying. :nixweiss: :D :D

But there is a byproduct to that method of volume control.  At some point you get hit.  At a point deemed too much farther than that you don't stand a chance of getting lucky later that night.  It's really not worth it.

Ok, it's not worth it sometimes....
