Well I saw the 2010 Scarlett Red Pearl with Dark Slate Gray today at HD of Seattle. I must say in person it looks 100% better than pictures. There is Alot more red on the bike than the pictures portray. Looking at the bike the flames blend in as they did on the Candy Concord Street Glide. The bike looks Good and if I were going to purchase a 2010 then I would be Happy to own it - I don't like it more than my Black and Orange 07 so I would not consider trading but it is a Nice Bike.
I also saw the Spiced Rum Street Glide - Did not like it at all - The colors seem to contrast to me - the Candy Concord is Much Nicer and Moco got that paint scheme right IMHO.
I also saw the the Vivid Black/Black Ice Pearl Limited again. I think this setup was the Best of 2010 - the added mods and paint scheme are a good fit and the price is 10k less than the CVO. The paint job looks Great when the sun hits it, it changes colors as you move around the bike. This would be the bike I would be most interested in for 2010. I really want to see the Scarlett Red/ Vivid Black if it looks as good as the Vivid Black/ Black Ice Pearl that would be my bike if I were in the market.
It is definitely a sign of the times, the dealership in Silverdale has Alot of bikes in inventory -new/used and Cycle Barn has closed their Honda, Kawaski, Triumph store and now Harley Davidson of Seattle's showroom is mixed with Metric Bikes and Harleys.
HD of Seattle used to sell there CVO's for $2500 over MSRP, one of the salesmen is a friend of mine he said "those days are long gone all we want to do now is get the bikes out the door - the days of letting bikes sit on the floor for a few grand more are gone"
