Great steal JC, anything below or at MSRP on these bikes is rare at this point in time. I like the Concord bike best as well, the Grand Rapids, MI. HD has a Rum colored one on the floor right now, had a look at it in the show room and thought to myself, show me the Concord one.

You did good, enjoy the ride and the new bigger motor.

Funny how nobody is questioning the 110 motors anymore.

What a great looking scooter, JC.  You didn't have to move very far from the Huckleberry to the Grape, did you?  I'll be very interesting watching what you do to it to make it 'yours'.   Have fun/ride safe.  ;) spyder

JC,
Congrats on getting the "Grape".  It looks great.  :2vrolijk_21: Like you one of the first things to go was that blasted wind deflector.  I replaced mine with a 9 1/2 winshield because at 6'4" I need a little higher version...but that made all the difference.  I agree with you that quiet is nice, but to me it's not a "Harley sounding" quiet.  Mine more burbles, then rumbles, and I want that rumble... ::)

Enjoy the ride JC, but I know that goes without saying.

I'm 6'4" also and have been riding with the 8" dark tint Windvest since they first came out seven months ago.  I think you'll find it a little more to your liking. :nixweiss:

Cool! Too bad you didn't have it a few weeks back for Jim's open house for all to see. We all get to see it at Street Vibrations right?...

No Jason........we'll not be at Street Vibrations.  Done that just to many years in a row and nothing changes.  Jeorge and Martha are coming out from Florida and so we'll be doing the bay area tour with them that weekend.

It's the same bike as yours......except it has the batwing fairing.  Oh, and I have "real" streatched saddle bags with usuable space. :huepfenlol2:  All 2"x2" of it. :nixweiss:

Especially all those that said how much they loved their 103's and wouldn't touch a 110 with a 10' pole! They finally fixed a leak! BFD! No other design changes, so don't expect a miracle now with these motors! Nothing's changed! Welcome to HELL gang!!! ;D ;)

Just a side note.........the SEEG is for sale (if Jim hasn't sold it already).  Call Jim (hd-dude) at Metal Dragon.

I'll admit that I love that SEEG every day and every mile that I owned it.  I'll admit that I wondered if I'd have remorse after buying the SESG and having to sell the SEEG.  I'll admit that I love this new SESG and I haven't spent a second looking back! :2vrolijk_21:

I had both of them together yesterday, at Jim's.  And when it came time to leave it was not even a question........I left on the bike that I wanted to leave on and there wasn't the slightest pull in the other direction.  If you're on a SEEG and are wondering (cause we all know the SEEG was the ultimate bike up till the 09 SERG and 2010 SESG)............for what it's worth, that's my perspective. :nixweiss:

Hey JC! Saw Mike's new Concord yesterday! BEAUTIFUL bike! And I wished you good luck with yours early on. But face it man, nothing's changed with these motors. You have Jim out there and know what you gotta do to it. But anyone buying a new 110 needs to know that nothing's changed except fixing the leaks. I didn't create the gloom and doom. MoCo did!!! Don't shoot the messenger! FTF!!! Just like hdfr120's plate says!!! ;)

Some people have good luck and some people have bad luck when it comes to 110 motors. I have a bit of both, rode the first motor until it ate a lifter and then an oil pump within 3 days last year in the Northwest USA. This happened at 24,500 miles. HD stepped up and replaced the complete motor with a new one in August of 2008. The 2009 where out so I have to think I got a motor with all the lastest fixes for the oil leaks and such.

Well, am 50 mile from 50,000 miles on the bike now, 25K+ miles on the new motor and it runs really well without any problems.

I witnessed that first hand as we rode together in Ore, Wash and now Calif. :2vrolijk_21:  You do get around on that thing. :)
