Great ride report!  While it reminded me of our post-Sedona ride you showed that there is so much more there to warrant a return!

We stopped for the day at the Hacienda Hotel & Casino, at the top of the hill above the dam. 

We got a suite for $17.95 with the AAA discount.  Believe it!  And the steakhouse was equally incredable!  Terrie said this is the best place that we stayed on our trip. 

This is a view from our 6th floor room.....

I stayed there 5 years ago and came back to Harley, somebody broke into saddle bags, stole everything.
Lucky I had cash on me, had to ride back to Las Vegas and find a leather shop and buy new jacket for trip home.
This was in December and does it get cold at night in the high desert!!! So if anyone is planning to stop, park by the doors.

What an awesome photo journal, JC...well done and thanks for sharing it all!
I've been all over the southwest (but I was much younger then), some of it on a Goldwing.  It's my favorite part of the country and I miss it.  Thanks for the memories!
