Larry, you bike is looking sweet!!!  Awesome to see the pods installed.

As for the heat issue with the RG.  I have found that the floorboard extensions helped greatly with this.  I installed them, and up one notch.  It seems it changes the air flow a bit thru the bike, and has allowed me to run my lowers year round.

Yours look great Larry, but my preference is less clutter is better.  Never cared for the lowers on the SERG.  Now, with old man winter right around the corner, I may wish I had them, but don't like the look of it for my bike.  Some day I'll grow up and be like you though...

With the fixed fairing the lowers work really well in cold or damp weather. Nothing like being warn and dry when the weather turns on you.  Doc

Looks good! Black is a good option to keep the cost down! But I can't wait to see my purdy color-matched yeller ones Larry is hooking up for me!!

Does the quick release hardware really make that much of a difference?

LarryB will do a great job for you Crusty, he hooked me up with the chrome vents. MY find on ebay was a great deal, they were listed for about 30 minutes. Otherwise I was going to get them from LarryB..

I haven't removed them since the install a month ago.....love'em

you guys are going to "wet" yourselves when you get them, just sent out a O/B tourpak yesterday, outstanding. no 2 are alike, or, they are a one off  :2vrolijk_21:
the quick release ain't too quick, just means no tools. I got rid of mine.
Klaus, Highjagger, has a set of custom lowers sitting ready to go but this stereo setup is giving me fits. have to fine tune the gain on the amp and insure it's working great before I send his setup to Germany. being picky is good but Dayum, sometimes it's a PIA
