I guess he just bought some exhaust and an air cleaner!!!

I also bought some nifty J & M shorty antennas to connect to the radio with the relocated amp in the fairing.  They set me back darn near $80.  I forget but the amp cost a little more than that.   :nixweiss:

 ;D  :D :D :D
Now that's funny! Only $5k!

No this is my 4th HD the last on is a 06 ultra, I put over 15K in that.   :dunce: So this time I told the wife that if I get the CVO I'm not going to do anything. It comes with everything.  :duhk: I think I'm close to that 5K, just my change the speaks.

I love it since I saw and ride 2007 CVO Springer. :P

Before I forget, the 2009er Springer is my first CVO but it will not be last one (my wife wants one too) :vrolijk_6:

They just make sense to me, by the time you do a little motor work and add some chrome, your up to what a CVO costs (oh yes, I forgot....you also have a butt load of usless parts hanging around that you can't bear to throw away).  Why buy parts twice.

I spent $52k trying to make an 05 FLTRi into a CVO knock off. Lot cheaper to buy the real thing.

Simple.  I'm independently wealthy, and was looking to throw away $36K for something that I didn't need.

Seriously, I never really thought about it until I had the urge to trade in my Heritage for a touring bike.  I liked the idea of having the best, so I began my quest for my wife's approval.  Two months later, I placed my order & hoped that the deal would be completed before she changed her mind.  It was.

Ironically, I absolutely hate cleaning & polishing stuff, but I was so excited about having a CVO, I didn't think about what I was getting myself into.

It's all good, though.  I'm actually cleaning the bugs off at least once a month.

Walked in - Rode out! As we all know, they (SE' CVOs) not only offer incorporated upgrades way above baseline chassis models, they serve as collectors' models from the onset of their design which of course is developed by those guys who design them at HD and these days seemed to have refined their "art" to a science with the year on year CVO production line.

They (HD) don't skip anything when it comes to the CVO line and offer us proud owners (or to be lookers) seemingly one of a kind (or better, series) that on the showroom step to the front of the line with ahead of other production models, but home in the garage or more so on the road amidst the wind and the lanes....just continue to pay homage to their legend and the rider's choice of .

Its true, the pricing of these CVOs make them prohibitive for many and thats unfortunate. In my case, I knew whatever I purchased I would want to customize it as my own. That said, buying the CVO limited the amount of add-on's I'd need to do, and challenge me to keep it real. As a result....here is my "body of wind" in motion....
