Try Handle Bar Lee's. He is Los Angeles and his bars are call meat hooks.

This Lee`s ape is amazing . Why do you see them so rare ? Any issues with the lee`s apes ? Amazing look imho .
But i guess : too much pullback , bad wrist angle .

I have a few questions on the monkey bars , as for the pullback I see that they only have a 6" pullback and that the stock bars have a 10" pullback so with that being said ,with a set of 10" monkey bars will my reach to the bars have me leaning forward.

Finnaly got my 14" Monkey bars on and my Bub boom cans! I love it! The bars make it handle like a whole different bike. Feels much lighter and cool as hell!!!! Thanks to jmglide for all the part numbers!

Thanks for all the pics and knowledge. Now that you've all had your Apes for awhile are you still glad you did it. Would you do anything differently? I had the W1 517 on my 08 and liked them but I would have to say they were mini apes and to the unknowing wouldn't even realise that they were and upgrade. which was good cause I didn't want to over do it. This time around wanna be a little more daring and go with Paul Yaffe's Monkey Bars. You guys with the 14" 15" & 16" are daring (in my book) but you all say you love the feel and the comfort. A couple of you have posted pics of the 10" & 12" and it still looks bad azz just not quite so radical. Plus I like the idea of not having to replace the clutch cable with the shorter version. Can anyone confirm that the clutch & brake line will work with the 12" Yaffe bar? I know its been asked a dozen times and I have heard so many answers that I just want to know hear a fresh answer confirming it one way or the other. If I do the 12 PY bar is there anything else I need to purchase other than the better bushings to stiffen up the feel.
      Thanks Again

Just can say :
Do it , the higher the better .
This is the first time i did Ape on my bike and i love the feeling , the comfort , the handling - increase .( I did not believe before )
I also wanted the PY , but ended wit a V-team (here in germany we need the handlebar to be allowed and the PY is not- don`t ask why),
The pullback on mine is 7" (the height 18") and i can lean the bar forwards (negative angle to the fork-direction-very cool).
I would do it again , and i am glad that i waited so long to become encouraged for the 18" height , a year ago i thought also about a 10" or 12" height to keep the brake and clutch lines, but gladly  i did the higher one , it is worth to change the lines .
Ape rules !

Try Handle Bar Lee's. He is Los Angeles and his bars are call meat hooks.

I saw this bike on Sons of Anarchy 11/13 at 44min in when they went to the docks looking for the black guy who helped kill Opie. Does this bike belong to a forum member?
