With all the discussion we have from time to time about broken pipes, I thought the following information published in the January 2006 edition of American Iron Magazine might be of interest.  I'm not sure I would've had the ingenuity to come up with this solution in the heat of the moment (pun intended), but seeing it has commited it to memory if I ever need it.  Plus, there are some good tips on early detection of cracked pipes.

Yep, 103tHunDer, thanks for the article post.  I guess this means I've gotta add hose clamps of the right size (already had small ones) to my tools/parts kit in my saddlebag.  My left saddlebad is already so heavy I'm not sure how it stays on the bike.  [smiley=nervous.gif] Har!  [smiley=2vrolijk_21.gif] spyder
