Well we just hit 55 F ( thats 15 C for my Canadian friends )  so I am going to take this rare Oct. oppertunity  and  get out to put some more Kilometers on the Red   

I really shouldn't be saying this, but its going to be in the 90's again today like yesterday. We were out riding all weekend planning the runs for the PSW GTG, and I hope everyone has penciled in the dates for this event on their June 2010 canlender. This might be a great chance to show off those Triple Reds, and ride, and    Doc

Never owned one so can't say for sure of course.  But I've always heard that the Blues were the chattiest of the bunch.

The search is going well    at my last count I have now found 23 members on the site that own the Triple Red SERG    If anyone knows of an owner of a Triple Red that might not yet be a member of the site please encourage them to check us out and join in on the wealth of information here,as well as the opportunity to make new friends.

I just bought one last week, 24k couple of dings in the gas tank, someone might have the paint codes out there

Set up an automatic search on eBay.  A new tank has been repeatedly relisted there for the last five or six months.  Usually with a few weeks dead period between listings.  Guy has been asking $600 for it and never got a sniff.  Last time I saw it listed it still went without a bid.

Seller was too cute by half though.  When you do your search use something like:

(eagle road glide, fltrsei) (tank, cell) (gas, fuel, petrol)

For some reason about every other time the guy listed it he described it as a petrol cell.  From a US seller to an American audience .  It's not listed now (just checked).  If you're lucky maybe it'll pop back up again.

Could be a relocated Brit??  I employ a couple of relocated Brits - who are now actual US citizens.  You would enjoy some of the terms they use.  Got a "spanner"?

I'd readily accept the possibility he'd replace dynamos rather than alternators if I'd not swapped emails with the guy trying to talk him down on the price.  Straight up redneck American trying to sound like something else.
