I have a 2007 SERK which I love and ride it almost year round.  Having road raced in the 70s and 80s, I still push the RK, my third Harley, pretty hard and found that the rear bottomed out a lot, even at max pressure on the shocks.  I thought it was the lower rear, compared with my trade in, a 2000 RK classic.  But studying the posts over the weekend convinced me this is a problem with the stock shocks.  I have decided to spend less time worrying about this stuff and more time reading the excellent posts on the cvo forum.  I am glad you are all out there.
