Update.......
Dakota Digital came in, Hog Wired came in, J&M hidden antennas came in, Seat is in.
Just waiting on the Radio to come back.
Last night.......shweeewww glad it's in the past.
The Gauges got installed.......Now here's the deal, if you were like me and already had a Oil Temperature gauge it's a PIA.
My suggesttion would be if you are thinking of these gauges do not change the ambient temperature gauge.....WAIT!
Bottom line, it was time consuming.
I also have to change the probe in the oil pan....the connections are different...Go Figure.
All other gauges are strictly plug and play.....Honest.
Having the radio out was actually pretty helpful, just gave you that little extra room for the oil pressure gauge and the oil temp. gauge.
Now the Batwing is losing room rapidly especially with the amp/speaker connections for the Hawg Wired system and the hidden antennas....I do not have it all sorted out yet.
I'll figure it out.
Pictures are coming, there is no need for a step by step for the gauges, they are on the Dakota Web-site to include pictures.
I do have a question though, if someone has any experience with this....
The hidden antenna, is ther any reason I shouldn't feed the antenna down the backbone? there is plenty of room just wondering if being under the tank will it affect it reception?
AM/FM only.
