As most of you know I have been waiting on my new bike for a few months now and she's finally here. My kids knew how excited I was to make the 5 hour trip to Ben Breece HD in Ottawa, OH. so they made the trip with me. It's always a good time on road trips with the kids and besides Paulie will do all the driving. The last few weeks was the hardest because the bike was over a week late because it set in a warehouse only an hour away. Julie at the dealership started taking pictures as soon as the truck got there.

For me the choice was very easy not to ride it home. A couple weeks ago my HOG Chapter was on a Veterans Day run when a car was hit in the rear end and forced him into our group of riders. We had 60 plus bikes on that ride and Jim was the only one hit and killed. This happened 8 bikes in front of me, so for now I'm taking it one day at a time. As of tonight I have 44 miles on a new bike that I've had for over a week now.

Take your time with her. I know the memories of Jim and his last ride are still fresh. As you said, " one day at a time ".

I got her from Ben Breece HD in Ottawa, OH. They are a first class Dealership. I'm sure this is not the last bike I will buy from them.

Chris, congrats and thanks for sharing the pics of the "birth and delivery" of your new baby.

IMO, you got the best of SEUC colors for this year. Simply a great looking machine and the marbling effect on the flames is amazing.

I don't blame you for not riding much after what happened and with the memory of that still fresh in your mind. But take solace in the fact that it's yours, it's sitting in the garage and waiting to take you wherever you want to go and will take you there in style. Enjoy the ride.
