Here is a pic of my C&C seat on my 2010 SE Streetglide, and I love it!

Looks very nice!  How is the seating position and comfort relative to the stock seat?  Forward/Back/Higher/lower.

The seat position is close to stock. It is a little narrower. Seams to be a bit more firmer. I have'nt had a chance to ride it with the new seat. The weather sucks, last week really cold. This week lots of rain.

The seat comfort issue has been beat to death over the years.  A few years back I was accused of having more seats in my garage than I had clothes in my closet. :nixweiss:

I've come to learn that the soft cushy seats (like I had on a couple of Ultra Classics) are very comfortable initially and that comfort lasts for an hour or two then quickly becomes very uncomfortable.  The firmer the seat, the more comfortable on the long haul so that seat will probably be a comfortable seat going forward. :2vrolijk_21:

I could never explain why my Corbin is the hardest (to the touch) seat I've ever owned......and the most comfortable. :nixweiss:

Affirmative Sir: The best long Haul seat I have owned to date was a Saddlemen Gel seat. (Used this seat on multiple bikes)

They are very firm to the touch and have 3/4" of gel in them/ they disperse the weight eliminating pressure points. This allows better blood flow especially around the hips.

Many have the false conception that soft = comfort when Physics dictates the exact opposite.

Haven't had a Corbin or C&C but will be considering them for the SESG.

I was initially going to go with a Gel seat from C &C, but Chuck told me that he recommends the regular seat becuase he has had better feedback on it.  He is sending me fabric samples right now (need to match something up to the Tequila!)

Haven't had the C&C but the Gel seat from Saddleman was the most comfortable long haul seat I've ridden. Several other riders in our group switched and seem pleased. The most pleased though have been the BSR's the rear of the Explorer is 3/4" Gel and 14.5" wide giving more support and displacing the weight.

Here is a shot of my Explorer it had 60,000 miles on it.

I got the C&C seat for Xmas.  Love it, really looks nice on the bike but haven't had time to ride yet.  The company was very good to deal with and they included the necessary installation bracket, shipped same day and even gave my wife a discount on the purchase.  Shipping was also very inexpensive, about $8.  The are only about 50 miles from me.
