Hoist's garage would qualify as a nationally famous building.

I love it! You caught me in your trap while breaking yet another hard and fast rule of this thread. "Your scoot at a famous locale"!

If ANYONE else on this thread would have ID'd Leno's garage, it would have passed muster. The fact that clues had to be given and that the poster was enjoying the tease is what turned my crank.

By the way, just google Mickey's Diner and see how famous it is. Google Jay Leno's Garage and you come up with a famous website but no photo of the location. Sure Jay probably doesn't want everyone knowing where his "garage" is. Knowing Jay (which I don't), this also probably isn't his only garage.

Wrongway, I don't know you well enough to be as upset with you as you seem to be with me. You can post any photo on this thread you want and not suffer any financial or physical penalty. The thread title was a request for photos I thought would be cool to assemble in one place.

I never asked you to remove the photo of Jay Leno's garage. If you had included in your post of the photo that it was Jay Leno's garage, my response would have been "that's cool, what's the address so I can go by it next time I'm in town."

You can find plenty of photos in this thread that required some additional clues as to where they were. I have never asked anyone to remove any photo that has ever been placed on this thread because of that (actually, I've never asked anyone to remove a photo from this thread for any reason whatsoever). There are several photos of places I didn't recognize that I would now like to visit (Jay Leno's garage included).

As I said, what pissed me off is your doling out clues to a photo that should have been ID'd up front. I was having a bad day and I took it out on you. For that, I apologize. I'm sure you're a good guy and I'm sure if you ever met or got to know me, you would say I was a good guy too.

Please, accept my apology and feel free to repost the garage photo if you wish. Or, you can tell me to pound sand.
