Hello to all!
What a fantastic forum, great information on add on's, tuning, modifications, look out's (paint) etc. Really appreciated, it's great to have so much good information available!
The wife and I put 5400 miles on the 05 Road King Classic this past summer and then saw the SE Ultra and just had to have one. The RK is for sale and the Ultra is now due to arrive the middle of February. Originally it was to ship late December but it appears they are about six weeks behind, at least at this time. Not a big deal as we live in the mid-west and good riding doesn't start until about mid March.
I'm really jealous, though, of all who already have theirs. The pics posted are really great to see, confirms our decision to buy one.

Bojiboy,  Welcome to the site!  I've only been here a couple of months, but it feels like much longer.  If you haven't already, you may want to ask for an increase in your credit limit.  As I have learned here, "fully loaded" is not a description of the bike, it is a requirement of the owner!    More bling! cha-ching!

Thanks, it's really great to find this site! Good advice on the credit limit, I'll let the wife know that it's a "requirement" to load up on extras and see what happens. The weird thing is, she seems to be more excited about it than me, if that's possible! [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

Bojiboy, I know what you're going through. You're timeline sounds excatly like mine. My Dec 5 ship date was also changed to a Feb 10 ship date.  I put my deposit down on Aug 7, so needless to say, I am ready for a delivery. Good luck and welcome. Hope our dates this time are final. To add insult to injury, I'm in TX, and this winter, or should I say Summer, has been one of the driest and warmest on record. Great riding weather. Yesterday 81, today 82.  It's really testing my patience, which is not one of my strong points.  Think I'll go ride the Wing today just to be riding.  Later

GC, It sure is tough waiting, can't imagine the wait when it's 80+ outside. Makes me wonder why I live where I do, it's 33 now and going to get up to 39 today! Been reading the posts on add on's and I'm going to have lots of fun when it arrives.

Wait until you see that color in the sun! Your wife will love her new Throne as well. A couple HD pieces of jewelry for the Lil Mis and the chrome will just jump at the bike! Congratsulations on the upcoming addition to the family. I really hate to mention this, but we put about 200 miles in today! Down to Sunset Blvd, so. to the Pacific, no. to Topanga Cyn, no. to Mulholland Hwy, west to Malibu Cyn, had lunch, then headed home to the cold desert. Yes I got a sunburn on the face! Ahh, So. I just had to glote! Really, the day started at 29 here in the high desert. But at about 10am we bundled up and hit the road. Donna didn't ride with us yesterday on the PATRIOT GUARD RIDERS mission, so I knew I had to get her some miles. See, my wife likes to ride as much as I do, and gets upset if she dosen't get her seat time.  Dave

Well, it arrived! Shipped on the 17th and landed at the dealer yesterday. It's still in the crate, they're going to start installing upgrades etc. on Monday so I hope to have it sometime during the week. Going to check it out tomorrow and hopefully can check out the paint. From what I'm reading it's going to have a problem.

Thanks to all who have persisted with the MoCo on the paint problem! I'll post some pictures as soon as I can get some.

Weather is supposed to get a bit better (45) about Wednesday so maybe I can even ride it home!

Congrats on the arrival on the new scooter. Hope you will be able to put some miles on it soon (45 degrees with heated seat and grips shouldn't be to bad ).

Thanks, wouldn't you know it was 62 today. You're right, all those heated accessories will be nice! Might just have to skip out of work for a bit and rack up some miles..... 8-)

Here it is, just out of the box and not cleaned up yet and nothing added. Should be ready about Wednesday, V&H slip on's, SERT (thanks FR8TRN for the info), SE air cleaner, latch lights, Kuryakyn passenger foot pegs and a few other goodies.

Now for the big question, paint. Yes, I do see some difference in the bag and lid. It was a bit dirty and dusty but I did take some pics. I'll try to post. The dealer is aware and we'll take a closer look when it's cleaned up and go from there.

Ya, can ya believe it! She really is excited and I'm takin advantage of it, more chrome baby! We're actually going to pick up the bike in about three hours!! [smiley=banana.gif] [smiley=banana.gif] She never skips out on work but she's doin it today. She wants to get in on the fun too. Today is supposed to be the best day of the week, 57 and then cool off from there and rain on the weekend. Guess we're just livin right this week.
