I for one want to say thanks for the 'hypothetical' post on the 'alleged' mid-year Dark Ultra - I am about a month away from riding again (after a total knee replacement) and was about to start looking (again) for a Tequila SESG. Now, with the 'post-that-never-happened' that 'hypothetically' regarded the 'alleged' mid-year Dark Ultra, I just may hold off on the Tequila and wait for the 'alleged' big-dark-one to materialize.

BTW: 'hypothetically' speaking of course, how long would one have to wait to 'hypothetically' see one of the 'alleged' bikes in person?

I'm no lawyer but it is my understanding that the copyright protects COMMERCIAL use of the material. If you record a copyrighted song and play it at your party, there is no infringement. If you SELL copies of the song, then there is a problem.  That said, I think it was a good idea to respect their wishes.

  Do they always send the literature out to the dealers before the official announcement? :nixweiss:

103 T - In 2003 i was waiting on my 2004 seeg  B/B  I was given The literature in advance and told not to flashed it around till it was officially out, which i respected...  I happened to be in another HD shop and I asked the sales manage So What up With The 2004 cvo ? He said he didn,t Know or wasn,t telling. funny thing is I had the Literature in my back pocket and wanted to flash it REAL BAD but didn,t   The right call was made to pull photo,s   I was lucky to see it And all i gotta saw is WOW..Good thing there are so few and I,m sure dealers will want MSRP++++ If i saw an unspoken one at msrp I,m sure i wouldn,t have the will power to not get it.    Sharp looking Ride-----------AK

Yeah, that's the part of this that doesn't make any sense....why go after your main supporters?  I could better understand them asking a competitor oriented site.  Just doesn't seem to be 'user-friendly' to me.  :-[ spyder

LOL, they might have been able to sell all 999 of 'em between now and then if they hadn't stopped us from doing the introduction.
