« on: January 09, 2010, 10:54:40 PM »

I just got done installing J&M 7.25 speakers,Kuryauken curved license plate frame, riders claw Ipod holder,Kuryauken floorboard extensions, clearview windshield molding hardware kit and Screaming Eagle shifter rod.Getting ready to install wig wag rear light module if I can figure out the wiring ,and new diamond ice show lights.Thinking about ordering tha Eagle horn cover, has anyone heard good or bad about it.I just wanted to thank the cvo group for all the ideas and support ,I couldn.t have done it without you.Of course it did make my wallet liter haha !!!!!!!!!!!!

If the photos are on your computer, just select the "Attach - Choose File" button at the bottom of the post reply screen and select the photo you want to post.  Good luck!

The eagle horn cover looks very good and the mounting works fine . But i would suggest to order the "aged" looking version because the contours of the eagle are better pointed than at the chrome-one ( i have ) .

I agree with the aged one, I have the chrome and wish I had purchased the aged one.  Also use some locktite when you reinstall the horn itself, I found mine lying on the primary cover when I stopped for gas.

Same happened to me ,
I am sure i ordered the aged one , but something went wrong and i received the chrome one with blue Led , so i mounted it .  ::)

Randy, If you want the Eagle horn cover, you might want to contact  or get one from LarryB or Hawg Sounds (Terry).  Here's a picuture of Terry's:

It''s not an "aged" version. They have chrome, and "Marine-grade" aluminum finishes. Mine's the Marine-grade aluminum. :2vrolijk_21:

(note the horn cover in the bottom of the attached picture that was made for me)

I just changed the seat on my 2001 SERG to the HD Sun ray with heater indicator controls and I just ordered the street glide king tour pak back rest. It is a good thing I installed a quick disconnect on the fuel cross over hose as I have my tank off more times than I can remember. I installed it last year when I installed the Andrews Cams with new HD style tensioners (and many more add ons) (20K miles and tensioners were shot). I will take a photo once I get the new back rest on.

Sounds like you've been busy, but winter is only half over... you still have time to add this
