do I need remapp?
« on: February 28, 2010, 04:52:11 PM »

I have a 09 Fat Bob, I just recently added the V&H big radius 2into1 exhaust on my scoot, just wandering do I remapp or just get a fuel pack, or both.  I have a SE heavy breather also and I checked on changing it and it looks like I have an electrical plug on my factory breather and the SE doesn't have this.  Sorry for all the ?'s but I just do not know.  I installed the pipes myself.  Any help on this would be appreciated.

when changes affect intake and exhaust remapping is required, standard map is way to lean anyway.

I agree.....factory map is too lean to begin with even without the mods.........not sure about the plug at the air cleaner..I am sure someone will have the answer soon enough.

I thought the AIC was only installed on the International models, no?

Sorry, I'm the new guy here.
I've dealt only with carbs; sorry if my questions are out of line.
