My SE 49 state slip ons are in and will be installed Friday which means I will have the stock pipes sitting in the garage, perhaps forever.  Reading some of the threads, it seems that my satirical write up on Mr. Wizard's "Frankenbaffle" suggestions are actually being done by some of you!!

If you are having pipes being created by the local welding artist and need something on your bike so you can ride for a few weeks or a month while the work is being done, consider my stock pipes available for $100 plus shipping.  Perhaps we could make them continously available to those having pipes fabricated - moving them around the country from owner to owner to keep bikes on the road while fabrication gets done on new pipes.  I should make them available for free but I just got the estimate for the new pipes and the tuning and I'll need all the $$$ help I can get!

Let me know if anyone needs them.

PS  Wasn't there a "Chick Flick" about a pair of blue jeans and a similar situation??

Goldfar,

Well I think I am the first to be doing these on my own. As soon as I get them done I will give a full report. If these are the stock cans that have the baffles with the cats, I may take you up on the offer if my fabricator mangles the end caps that I am using from mine. I won't know that until I get cutting...
