Hi Jim - that's what I told you you'd have to do...

Just so you know - I'm up and running now - and wow, how well does she run!!!

100+Tq and 95+ Bhp

I seem to be going everywhere at 80

Cheers

Dave

Dave

What did you have done to it?

Thanks for the interest JR, it's nothing special - V&H true duals and oval slip ons , S/E backplate, Arlen Ness filter and outer plate and PCIII.

3.5 hours on the dyno and it runs sweet - no popping at all

The figures aren't too shabby - 100.5 Tq and 95.3 hp (SAE corrected at sea level) but the main thing is how it feels - it just wants to pull and pull.

I'm experimenting with screens and seats right now but I know that I'm going to have to sort out the front suspension real soon.

It seems that if I'm off the motorway and on the back roads, I bottom out the front end over every drain cover and bump which is kinda wearing after a while.

I guess I need to do a search on the site for the best "bang for buck" improvement

Cheers

Dave

Dave

I had my bike dyno'd before the Zipper cams and exhaust change I made. I was running screamin eagle pro mufflers, SE back plate w/K&N air filter and download and my numbers were similar to yours. I believe he said 92hp and 100 tq. I am awaiting my Zipper ECM which will be here Tues then I will see what improvements were made with cams, and D&D fatcats.

I went with Screamin Eagle oil in front end and this has helped. It still can bottom but not as bad.
