Try not to encourage him.  That's the same suggestion he's made every year since I joined this site, and so far to the best of my knowledge he hasn't even gotten them to build a regular Servi-Car, much less a Screamin' Eagle version.  Sheesh.

Jerry ;)

At least they finally tried.  Didn't hit the bullseye.  But, hey, it's Harley....

SE Wide Glide and SE Road Glide with enough metalflake in the colors
that you almost can't look at it in the sunshine. :bananarock:

I'd be really surprised if they bring back the SE Road Glide, the dealers had too many of them left over after they started coming out with the 2010's.   I'm just sayin'  :nixweiss:

Since the MoCo wants us to think they are into "old school" and "nostalgia", how about a rigid frame, kick start, foot clutch, hand shift, 3 gallon tank, redesigned Pan engined bike like my bobber?

Or, maybe not.....

All that cool chit and they would have to throw a catalytic convertor on it!

Dealer said even in this slow economy streetglides and everything CVO were selling.  I'd look for the 2nd year of the cvo streetglide and given the profit margin on the cvo ultra another year of the Harley accessory catalogue on wheels.

I think that the SESG is a given for 2011.  The MoCo surprised me with coming back with a SEUC for the 4th year in a row, and then another year after that, plus a mid-year version!  So I guess they'll come back again considering how well they sell.  Hopefully we've seen the last of the flames though, JMHO.

I also feel that a CVO Heritage is long overdue.

Watercooled touring bike?  In your dreams!

Third hand info....

I heard from a guy that rides a 2010 TG. Says he talked to a factory rep about his ride. Rep said they were considering the water cooled concept for the 2012 TG by using the V-Rod motor. Backing that up I had a rep tell me they weren't considering building the TG past 2011 but since they kicked Lehman out of the process who knows.

Anyone's guess is as good as tossing a stick to see what direction they will take but I wouldn't look for a SETG until all the bugs get worked out such as the starter, reverse, trunk water leaks, rear brake wear, power and the heat issues which are worse than the stock SESG and SEUC this year. I"m sure a SETG would be at least 45K or more.

Did I miss some news? Does Lehman no longer have a deal with the MoCo to produce their Trikes?

 :2cr_01: OK...here's my list for 2011:

ADD:
1.  Watercooled heads - bet this would eliminate need for oil cooler!
2.  Bluetooth communications, no more wires to helmets!
3.  Electrically adjustable windshield - or at least as an option
4.  Relocated oil filter for ease of maintenance
5.  Fill plug for primary and level check plug for same
6.  Chrome saddlebag guards similar to standard Ultra but unique design
7.  A QUALITY navigation system (Garmin Zumo or equal)
8.  Revised crankcase breather to eliminate oil carryover to air cleaner (drainback sys or dropout chamber)
9.  Lower seat height by 1-inch

REMOVE:
1.  Garage door opener, leave it as an option
2.  Inner bag liners, leave them as an option
3.  Gold key, leave it as an option

This is a start!!   :2vrolijk_21:
