Is there anything that can be done to temporarily fix a paint that hammered the clear coat?  The sand that we got caught in was horrible.  I need to try to fix the paint temporarily until a new paint set can get here.  Also, is there anything that will bring a shine back to chrome after being dulled by sand.  Ready to pull my hair out!

I haven't found anything that will rejuvenate sand blasted chrome. I live at the beach and just gave up on keeping them looking new after installing them.....I just replace the lowers every year and rebuild the front end

Paint can be wet sanded if not too bad....if real bad have a painter reclear
