I purchased the docking cover kit 48182-05. It consist of four magnetic covers. Two are one size bigger then the other two. I had to replace the factory docking points with 54245-10 to accomidate the tour-pak. The two bigger docking covers from kit 48182-05 fit all four of the new docking points, but are not long enough to cover the entire stem. The two smaller docking covers do not fit anywhere on the bike and the lower two docking points that the side bags hook into are to big for the bigger docking covers to fit over.

Does anyone know of four docking covers that will fit the total length of the stem of the new docking stems?

Does anyone know of two docking covers that will fit the lower docking points that the side bags hook into?

I hope your thread gets more attention than mine did. I refuse to convert the convertable without the covers and have been unsuccessful in finding any covers that fit the ConV.

There is more then one kit available, and there were problems with the wrong parts in some of the kits. Look at this thread

You have changed the docking hardware to accommodate the tour pack correct? Will the 48182-05 kit fit all the original docking points? I was looking at those as well but do not have the tour pack.

No, two of them are still to small to fit. The other two will fit but are still not long enough to cover the complete stem.
