Anyone try the HJC I 33 helmet?
« on: May 15, 2010, 05:52:43 PM »

Saw this helmet with both a clear and tinted visor.  It is a 3/4 helmet with the traditional clear visor  but with an interior retractable tinted visor.  If anyone has tried one of these i would appreciate feedback on
1. noise
2. comfort
3. use with a headset and mic

Thanks

Best helmet for the money I have ever owned.  Bought it when it was brand new to the market.

Very guiet.

Very comfortable.

Use it all the time with the headset and mic.

About a dozen memners in our club use the helmet that I know of.

My wife bought one and loves it. Had a Fulmer that she liked but she likes this one more.  I bought the same thing in a half helmet version and love it too

addendum: I bought and returned it because the J&M elite series headset speakers would not fit inside the helmet. Ear pockets were not deep enough

I have the Harley Davidson version of this helmet and with a little modification (drilling /cutting the styrofoam inserts)
J&M elites will comfortably fit.

I figured if I drilled or cut, I was stuck with it if it didn't fit.
