Jo57,

A few years back I was lucky enough to spend 10 days in Germany, It is amazing how many Castles you have over there! I was lucky enough to be invited to dinner in the Heidelberg Castle... It was the best vacation ever!  I would love to have been able to ride some while there.

Nice bike you have there  :orange:

Hi Jock,
from where in Germany? If you come to Germany give me a note and we go for ride.

Hi StrikerDown,
you have also a very nice bike! :-)
Heidelberg Castle is aprox. 1,5 hours from where i live.
I always be there with our relatives from America.
Come over and we go for a ride.
I've been in the US last year. Riding the HW1 from San Francisco down to Santa Cruz, Montery  Carmel Valley. A view trips around San Francisco.
Alice Restaurant etc. Up to Mendicino, Eureka and down the Wine Country.

Cheers Jo

I would love to ride through your countryside! It is so beautiful. Plus there is so much rich history... There is just something special about walking around a castle with history dating back almost 800 years.

I have ridden HW1 from almost San Diego (PCH) to Fort Bragg, it is some of the best and most beautiful riding in the state. Alice's Restaurant is a hot spot, nestled in the coastal hills... also some great riding through the twisties.

If I make it to Germany we will hoist a few... after the riding of course!

Prost!

Schönbek, is it near Kiel? Far in the north, that is approx. 800 km from where i live.
I have visitors from an San Francisco at the end of July for two weeks. We want to ride
to Alsace for a couple of days. If you come over, let me know.
