Acceleration Problem
« on: May 20, 2010, 09:41:55 PM »

When I fire my scooter off at low RPM---it hesitates---slow response---it does it when I slow down and down shift in the middle of curves, when you start to throttle up....It does it when you down shift coming up on a red ligt and pull the clutch in while coming to a stop....It is only doing this at low RPM----if the tack is at lest 2k it does not hesitate at all....sometimes it is also worse than others...

I just turned over 60,000 miles and it is a 2009---Like when you try to rack your pipes--it just feels like it is loading up or something....

Is there maybe a fuel problem ?
Is there a throttle body problem ?
Is it an electronic problem with the throttle ?
I seriously need some help and this is fricken driving me crazy !!!!!!!!

If it's never had a fuel filter or feed line replaced those are good places to start.  Well past time one might expect the filters to start giving problem.  The plastic line inside the tank from the pump assembly to the tank will occasionally perforate also.  Lowers pressure and can lead to behaviors as you describe.  Opening the tank is as good a place as any to start.

I had a similar problem with my 2007 CVO Ultra.  The diagnostic code showed an O2 sensor error.  Replaced under warranty and problem solved.
