Chapter Nine – The Final Strecth

At this point it was time for me to make some tracks and conduct this effort fast…

Here was my experience in Mississippi

We would not be experiencing America’s Birthplace of Music…Besides I consider that a misstatement of truth!

Here was my experience in Alabama

You know Alabama may very well be Beautiful but at 85mph I was also blurry!

Here was my experience in Florida

The Sunshine State would be the second time I experience any rain!

And my return to my home state

And yes Georgia was on my mind!

So I arrived home and thought to myself…What a journey!  Good times, great friends, awesome experiences, the motorsickle performed perfectly, arrived safely, spent less money than I thought I would, had only a few brushes with the 5-0, prefect location, well-organized, great rides on an on…When can I do it again!

Not 30 mintues home I hear, “We need to live in Califorina” !  Loved that weather compared to the high 90’s with 98%+ humidity experienced here….mmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Well I unloaded the bike and had to review the information on the Garmin for the trip results

DAMN…I have an awesome trip based upon this information!

The only stat accurate is the top speed on that unit and I do not understand why it recorded those results!  Other than that it performed without fail and perhaps it was a user function by me.  At the Grand Canyon I had to remove the battery to reset it because it would not work.  Learned that from my experience with trapperdog and ak on the trip.

The real results where 4,500 miles + and I do not know the other stats but whatever they were = FUN!

To those that have followed this thread I apologize for the length it took to get all of my chessy thoughts and photographs out there.  Between work, life and one #ell of an event in my family when I arrived home, it has taken longer than I had hoped.  Hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed reliving it.
