Did anyone here put Apes on your CVO?

Just want to know if anyone here has done this and if you did please post a pic and what brand you used. Any help would be great. I dont want to do 16 but i would sure like to bring my arms up.

Just wait a bit. The seat will probably drop down some, effectively raising your arms. ;D

Lol now that is funny, Ya been there done that! I think i also want to do a seat that will lower me as well but i do want the bars up just above the faring.

getting ready to pull the trigger on apes... probably the Chubby 0577 (12.5"). sorting out cable and line extensions now

okay, after a lot of miles the past few days on cruise control, I pulled the trigger this morning on the Wild 1 14". Ordered 12" control extension kit, plug n play throttle extender and 8" over stock clutch and brake lines. I talked to the folks at Wild 1's a couple of times about placement and lengths. The Clutch and Brake lines will come in from Barnett.

No part number for the lines. Dealer has to order from Barnett. Here's the Drag Specialties part numbers for the extensions:

Will need Hydraulic Clutch and Upper brake (ABS) lines 8" over stock. (will need to specify outer type: black, platinum, stainless)

DS# [0601-1207] Wild 1 Chubby HANDLEBAR APE14" FLHT BLACK (Wild 1 # W0576B)
DS# [2120-0223] NAMZ WIRE KIT EXT 12" 07-10FL
DS# [2120-0343] NAMZ HARNESS EXT TBW +18"

I order plenty long on the extensions. This was the recommendation from Wild 1's as the batwing provides space for the excess. Having the longer run provides for future growth  :bananarock:

May not have a part number until it arrives, if then. 8" over stock for a 2010 SESG. I'm trusting Wild 1 on the length so no down time. Parts order, awaiting delivery and then I'll change 'em out.
