There's usually a frenzy when the new models are rolled out, but it seems quieter this year than in past years. I go back long enough to remember when virtually every HD that hit the floor had 10 people in line to buy it. No matter what the color. Things have changed a bit since then. Although, a week after the 2011 model were rollout I called HD of Calgary regarding Canadian CVO prices only to find that this dealership will be adding about $4000 over and above Canadian MSRP to all 2011 CVOs. Its dealers like this that many long time HD owners kinda hope will end up selling fewer, and fewer bikes, at least until they see the light and stop gouging the consumer.

Just to be clear, High Country HD with the pre-sold Black/Crimson SESG2 is an MSRP dealer on CVOs. Treated me well on my 2010 SESG when I traded in my '02 FLHRSEI...

LOL, 4 grand over pricing that is already several grand over US pricing.

If you are seriously looking, let me know and I can take a look around the Toronto area dealers for you- most of them are fair, and due to the competion in the area, I can't see them asking for over MSRP.

Sold it yesterday.

Well, the deal fell through on the "Sold it yesterday". I spoke with a nice sales lady there and the bike is MSRP. Only want to give me 16,500.00 on my trade which has a 103 stage 1 upgrade and painted inner fairing. So I guess it's all relative. Some dealers may charge 3-5 grand over MSRP, but MAY allow more for your trade. She said that they could only allow so much as they sell the new stock ultras for 20k   I guess I should have bought mine there as I am pretty sure a new Ultra, with ABS and Security is more than 20 grand. Especially with a painted inner fairing and a 103 engine.

We saw one when we were on a ride during Ribfest that was blacked out, painted inner fairing, 103 upgrade (brand new) at a dealer up there somewhere and they were asking 30,500.00 for that one..... I understand a business needs to make money and should on each sale, but .................
