Simple little idea for a basic theft preventative.  Would stop the casual thief walking by just like the jackass that stole my chopped tour pak several years ago.  Still, $35 for a couple little metal blocks and screws is steep.  Now that someone else had the idea could make those for cheap.

Sometimes all we need is someone else's inspiration.  Some scrap aluminum chunks cut down to the right size.  An offset hole in the drill press.  Another hole and a tap.  Voila....  Maybe a buck for some screws and the enjoyment of a beer in the process.  Gotta love it.

Two wire ties would work just as good. Anything to slow down the thief!
