It appears to be resting on the saddlebag lids???  Have you taken the necessary precautions to avoid marking your lids?

Had one on my 06 Ultra. Loved it ! 900 mile days, no problem. Kinda became a conversation piece at large motorcycle gatherings. The hammock seat on my CVO is comfortable and I like the heated option but I miss the added height of the Zeppelin. At 6'3" my knees feel like they're under my chin with stock seats. You'll get used to the look and love the ride.
