as of last saturday afternoon , paid my deposit sight unseen for the scarlett red and cobalt softail convertible, arriving in melbourne australia end of november, cannot wait as there are not many allocated to oz, as far as i can gather they are all sold, i was very lucky the dealer that i went to was allocated one and he said we have been only allocated the red.......  lucky thats the one i wanted.
the hard part was going home and telling my wife i had just spent $43,000 aud on a bike, yes you heard right. ride away price including tax and rego is a little more than the U.S, then i informed her i was not selling my 96 softail custom with 100, 000 km , ahyhh she must love me.
