Arctic John,
Thanks for the information.

I wonder if this is all part of some clever marketing scheme by the MoCo... ?   :o  :nixweiss:
First they sell a bike with lights that look like they should be turn signals.
Next, a year later, they sell an add-on module that turns those lights into turn signals -but not 4-ways.
Then, in another year or so, maybe they will come out with a new module that adds the 4-way feature...  ???

You're giving the MOCO too much credit.      8)

the turn signals on the 2011 cvo tourpack will change intensity by reversing the polarity of the power. They are designed with diodes and stuff inside to make this happen. Since I purchased the kit that did not work for the effect that i wanted I got creative with some $5 relays from radioshack. I used the turn signal wire to singnal the relay which reversed the power to the tail light making it bright like the center light. Now they all light up bright and blink at the same time as the normal turn signals and break lights.

How long does this take to install?  I've been procrastinating thinking it will take a few hours.

30 minutes to an hour. Look at posts and follow instructions. Previous posts show mistakes and shortcuts. Be prepared for 2 hours and get thru quicker.

I'll check it out this weekend.  I have to dig into the tour pack for other issues, so I'll tackle this while I'm in there.  I really like the idea of getting the turn signals up high in drivers faces.  Riding home from work I have to make a right turn off a quasi-freeway and it makes me nervous every time.
