Please humor me. I just ordered the toupak to match my 2011 CVO SESG and want to add the LED tailight kit sold by HD.
It's my understanding that all I need is the HD kit #67931-11 and a primed lamp housing from the 2011 CVU Ultra Classic to have a less housing wrapping the side of the TP.
Does this sound right?
I looked at the 2011 CVO Ultra Classic parts book and the LED llamp units for the TP are not the same as the LED Light kit. Is that going to make a difference?

KIT IS MADE TO COVER UP OLD STYLE TOURPAK LIGHT, Don't look as nice as cvo one

Thanks for the reply JDO, than it sounds like I am headed in the right direction using the primed CVO LED lamp housing instead of what comes with the HD LED KIT. Now all I have to do is to get the housing painted to match the new tour pak. Do you happen to know if HD's LED lamp kit contains all the connectors needed like #70933-10? Thanks again.

Waynel, If you read a few posts back you will find that JDO isnt making the harness (Y adapter) anymore since it is now available from the motor company. The module has always been available from them. I had to wait less than a week for my dealer to get me the two parts.

You are correct. Thanks to you for doing the research and putting up the post to make it so easy because I just installed it tonight on my 2012. Last year I converted my 09 Ultra to the HD 3 light set up and wanted it on my CVO but the local parts guys said it couldnt be done. Thankfully I found this post because I feel much better knowing the cages behind me have an eye level turn signal to know my intentions.  Next project is getting some LED turn signals and brake light down low and I am done!   Well at least done for a little while.

Thanks ZDADDY, Guess if I'd paid a little more attention I would have noticed that. Ordered the parts from Harley today. Thought when I bought a CVO I wouldn't have to do anything to it what a mistake that was . Suspension next.  Who knows after that

Has anyone figured out how to make the 4-ways (Hazards) work with this yet? 

If the 4-ways are on, the tour pak corners don't blink. 

If I hit the brakes with the 4-ways on, the left and right tour pak corners blink opposite of the turns and are erratic (the right corner blink consistently but the left corner skips a few blinks ever now and then).  When I release the brakes, the tour pak corners go off.

I can live with it, but it would be nice to find a way to make the tour pak corners blink in sync to the turns when the 4-ways are on.

Did several months ago on my 2012 CVO Ultra with no problems and the 13's and 12's are reportedly the exact same. Dont panic if you plug it all in and they don't work correctly. Just refer to the part in the instructions about you may need to change the polarity of the wires coming from the lights. The high and low of the light is achieved by reversing polarity and since polarity didnt mater to the factory techs when they built the harness you may have to swap a couple of extra pins like i did.

I also found i could run a jumper from the small strips on the lower outside edges to the now old connector that i left in the trunk so they would flash when the turn signals activate. The only problem is since they are not the same style as the rear lights they flash 180 degrees out of phase with the turn signals and go out while the brake is applied.  Not sure if i like that or not.

I don't know how the module increases the brightness of the led bulbs for brake/turn.  I do know that my rh and lh end lights are very bright when the brake is applied or the turnsignals are on.  Easily seen from behind on sunny days for turn/brake.   They just work.  Bob
