So that's where it ended going!  Congrats to your brother!   :2vrolijk_21:

Now....does he have a ride with a fairing?   ???  Or is there more work to do?   :P

You are much to close to being just like the Evil One! However, I did show my brother an 04 B/B SEEG as he was talking about a scoot for longer trips. Strange, that's another one on my list.

LOL!!!! Jeff you see know one is safe. :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2:

Hey, Rick!  I'm tryin' to figure out how I can get it down to MV along with the SEEG so you, Bob and AJ can start a bidding war! :drink:  Pretty sure I coulda sold the SEEG to Jeff's brother when he came to pick up the FXR3 if I'd have wanted to.  Gotta watch it around you guys or I won't have anything left to ride if I'm not careful! :nervous: ;) :P

Look forward to seein' ya again soon! :beerchug:

Hey Rick!

Here's some random first impressions of the new scoot.

For the first time I've bought Harley I felt the handlebars were exactly where I wanted them to be. I sat in the saddle and my hands fell on to the grips prefectly. I had already assumed this was an item I would have to mod. After 100 miles on her today, I do not think this will be necessary. They feel prefect.

The shorty windshield was another item I knew I would have to replace with a clear, slightly taller. I am rethinking this at this moment. Not buffeting problems at all.

The seat feels like a custom job. Althought this was only 100 miles, the seat seems to fit the bill. I'll have to have Cheryl give the rear pad a try before I go anywhere with this area.

The rear shocks on the SESG2 are great. I did not adjust them and they worked damn good. Could this be yet another area I will get to safe money? I do feel higher up on this scooter. Not a great thing with a 29" inseam.

The front forks are in need of help, Progressive Monotubes are in her future.

I only listened to the radio for about 15 miles. Still listening to the new motor. I'll get use to having music later.

She does take sweeping curves very nice. Seems to hold the line slightly better than my 02/08 but only slightly. She does transition thru multiple "S" curves with less imput from the rider. Seems to know where to go. A great ride.

I had to hurry home for a detail (job) tonight. However, I did take enough time to put on the rear adjustable foot board kit with the Rumble collection insert (thanks KingDog), short angle highway peg w/ the rear passenger foot peg moved up front and a dual windshield pouch.

For DooD's record: This scooter will not be stock!

Pardon the dust & the background, I had to ride her on some back gravel roads to get her home due to road construction. She handles gravel very well also. No chips, I checked. No time for a nice back ground, had to get to work.

That was (is) the plan. I can afford to buy all the Harleys I want to ride whenever I want to. The family has to pitch in and help.  :D

She is an exceptionally sweet ride. My son says she is almost as good looking as the Candy Brandy! High praise from him.

Let me know when you need my brother to stop over and get his (my) other bike.

Jeff, congrats on the new ride! Looks like a nice cross between the all black style and some nice color. Glad to hear you are pleased with the initial ride! Let the mods begin!
