Labor Day Trip to Durango/Telluride
« on: September 09, 2010, 12:06:40 AM »

We beat the heat for a couple days and rode up to Durango/Silverton/Telluride, 1356 miles over the three days. Lots of bikes in the area, the four corner and sugar mountain bike rallies were going on. Great weather and good time with good folks.

what you don't want to happen to your tire anytime, but especially in the mountains, look close at the chunk out of this tire, luckly he was able to stop before it blew and got towed back to Durango, we were north of Silverton at the time.

Hey Roger

Looks like it was a grat time!

What brand was the tire?  My last Metzler was headed for that I think.  I sent it back to Metzler and they said no compensation as I had 8000 miles on the tire even though it was coming apart.
