06' FatBoy rear fender holes
« on: March 13, 2006, 08:20:12 AM »

What is the extra hole for in front of the 2 up seat screw hole in the fender?... Im going to a Corbin Solo, and I dont know what to do to make the fender look like it hasnt been through a gun fight... I have the plugs for the holes, but what is there to do with the threaded screwhole to cover it up?

Are you talking about the fender hole where the stock seat screws down? If your going with another fast backor two up style seat it should bolt down into that same hole, if your going with a solo seat you can either add a nice fender rack like the Mother Well's rack or a fender bib. You can get either of these from www.denniskirk.com or www.customchrome.com Harley also sells a nice rack and fender bibs too, but I think you get a better choice of styles with other companies. Good luck. :) Sandy

I simply got a plug with the shield on it and fit it in the two up fender bolt.

I'll take a pic and post it, The 06 SE2 has 2 holes and the threaded 2 up screw hole- its pretty ugly under there. 3 holes exposed with a 1 up seat on it, I need to have something made thats color coded to the paint....

You could cover it with one of these.
